
This is a combination of relaxation and an educational adventure for a glimpse of Borneo's Natural Heritage. Walk through the rainforest to soak in the immensity and complex working of this ecosystem. Observe the habits and part of their complex life-cycles - turtles, orang utans, proboscis monkeys, other small wild animals in their natural habitats. Admire nature's diverse floral displays along the way with spectacular jungle scenery as you drive past the many stages of Agricultural Development for oil palm and cocoa.
Day 1
An early morning transfer for the flight to Sandakan. You will be met on
arrival and transferred to Sandakan waterfront for the trip by speedboat
to Selingan Island. Take time to relax in the sun, sea and sand after
lunch. After dinner watch the wonders of the green turtle by way of
their egg-laying and release of hatchlings into the ocean.
Day 2
After breakfast, journey back to Sandakan for the transfer to Sepilok
Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. At the Centre, witness the feeding
and wild habits of the orang utans and marvel at the immensity of a
primary rainforest. After lunch at the Centre's cafeteria, proceed by road
to Sukau for the evening river cruise that will take you to the homeground
of the proboscis monkeys, birds, other monkeys, reptiles, insects amongst
others in this diverse rainforest flora. Night at SRI MENANGGOL CABINS

Day 3
A leisurely morning is followed by breakfast. The Gomantong Caves on the
way back to Sandakan is the next stop where the famed Bird's Nest Caves
are found. Lunch is provided, followed by a short city tour of Sandakan
before you transfer to the airport.
